The business world is always changing. One of the most recent changes in business is the use of social media as a marketing tool. Using Social Media in Business is an instructor-led course that is six weeks in length, covering a total of 24 hours. Students in this course will learn the basics of social media for marketing, creating leads, communicating with customers and gaining techniques for new methods of operation.
The course covers the most popular social media platforms. Students study Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google+. Even those students who are familiar with these social media outlets will learn secrets that are only known to professional users. Along with sales and marketing techniques, students learn how to use analytical tools to track the success of their social media campaigns.
Students will study social media automation for content marketing. Business owners and managers who use automation without first studying it may make irreparable mistakes. This course shows students the most common mistakes made with social media automation along with pros and cons of using automation apps and programs.
There are no prerequisites for this course. Students do not need to a have an understanding of social media platforms prior to the beginning of the course as they will be covered in-depth in each unit. Students must have a computer with internet and email capabilities.
