Project Management is a vital component in any successful business. A person who studies Project Management is able to apply their knowledge, skills and special techniques in both special and everyday projects. This quick-growing field attracts individuals who enjoy organization, communication and business success.
Our Project Management course is six weeks of study that is geared for both newcomers in the business world as well as those who are seasoned in corporate life. The course covers everything a student needs to run his or her first project, from beginning to end.
Led by a Project Management professional, this course covers all of the concepts necessary for planning and carrying out a project of any size. Topics covered include business ethics, project measurements, planning, techniques and closure. Students also learn how to uncover new project ideas.
Project Management and the follow-up course, Project Management Applications, may be taken alone in order to increase skills and productivity. They also function as excellent preparations for taking Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exams from the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.
There are no prerequisites for this course. Students must have access to internet and email. There are multiple sessions throughout the year, each lasting for six weeks and a total of 24 hours.
